BBC2’s Victoria Derbyshire is broadcasting a special programme about mental health in London on July 20 (you’d be needed from about 8am to 11am). They are looking for people who want to share their experiences of living with a mental health problem.
They aim to have an audience of 100 people who have some experience in this area – so they may be people who have a mental health issue themselves, their family members or people who work in the medical profession.
They also aim to have a panel to answer queries or questions – ideally that would be made up of someone from the government and top medical experts who help make policy and issue guidelines when it comes to mental health treatment.
The idea is that people can share their stories and personal experiences and ask questions of the experts.
They would also like to hear from families of people with mental health issues and people who work in mental health. Participants will have the chance to share their stories and ask questions of the people who make decisions in this field. Please contact Elaine.firstname.lastname@example.org for further information or with your name, contact details and why you’re interested in participating if you’d like to take part in the show.
