Below are slides from a recent session for the Harris Federation about the role of schools when it comes to mental health issues. The presentation covers how to recognise mental health issues, policies and procedures, skills development, and collaboration.
Delegates received various free resources from the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust, including a USB stick which contained No Harm Done – a series of videos about self-harm, for young people, parents and teachers plus accompanying resources. They were co-created with young people and in collaboration with Young Minds and The Royal College of Psychiatrists.
If you are holding a cluster INSET and would like Pooky or one of the CWMT team to talk on this topic or other issues related to child and adolescent mental health, please email email@example.com or complete our enquiry form below. Our training is fully funded though we welcome donations.
