If you’ve seen me speak recently, I’m sure I will have harped on at some point about adult colouring. It’s a fabulous, simple form of basic mindfulness that gives you a few minutes to calm and focus entirely on something this is soothing. It can be a great distraction when we feel the need to self-harm in any way and can also help to calm and relax at times of high stress and anxiety.
